- Following on from Hunee on Feb 10, Animals Dancing are proud to present Prosumer (Ostgut Ton, Berlin) on the 23rd of March at the Mercat Basement. Ever since we experienced Prosumer playing in Europe a couple of years ago, we at Animals Dancing knew that his blend of house, techno and disco would be right at home for an extended set in the Mercat Basement. Now we are excited to announce it is finally happening! Prosumer has been a long term resident at Berlin’s coveted Panorama Bar and has just mixed the widely acclaimed ‘Panorama Bar 03’ for Ostgut Ton. He may be best known for his stand-out DJ sets, but his productions hold just as much weight in the international dance community. He has key releases on his home stable Ostgut Ton and cameos on label luminaries: Playhouse and Running Back. Add to that remixes for Mount Kimbie and Mock & Toof amongst others, he has proved to be an important contributor to the discogs marketplace. Come hear a selection of Prosumer’s record collection on Friday March 23rd when he’ll play the Mercat Basement for as long as he wishes.
