COMING THIS FRIDAY, OCTOBER 19th at LOVE in NEW YORK CITY
Clouded Minds (Ian Resler + Doug Waylo) will be performing this upcoming Friday, October 19th at the Love nightclub in the village of New York City. The evening features up and coming electronic music producers from the area, and will feature a very special live performance by Clouded Minds.
Clouded Minds will be performing all originally written and produced music they composed over the past 2 years; debuting many never-heard-before tracks, and performing live with keyboards, samplers, and sound efx.
Clouded Minds are influenced by the global underground dance music culture as well as popular electronic and pop music acts including Bjork, Imogen Heap, Nine Inch Nails, and Massive Attack. Their first released single, "Purple" will be available in the US on CD and digital download this coming November on the Silver Planet 11th Year Anniversary Compliation mixed by Paul Sparkes of Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Ian Resler is an accomplished DJ from New York City and performs frequently at Made Events parties alongside Adam Force as the DJ/production group ALTERIMAGE. Ian's technical abilities, song selection and versatility as a DJ has allowed him to warm up for superstar acts such as Steve Lawler, Markus Schulz, Sander Van Dorn, Luke Chable and Seb Fontaine at clubs like Pacha, Sullivan Room and Shelter while headlining clubs like Rebel and Love.
Doug Waylo has spent the past 6 years DJ'ing in New York's underground nightclubs and lounges and has been hard at work producing a steady stream of top quality original dance tunes. Doug's background as a producer and musician is evident in his flair for going beyond your typical DJ set. His incorporation of live instrumentation, on-the-fly looping and efx, and general sonic mayhem into his live act takes his performance one step into the future and reminds you of why you love this music so much after all.
