Recently, the dance music community in Boston and New England has formed a more cohesive group. Now more than ever, club-goers are embracing new sounds and finding increased common ground in this ever-expanding medium. The sheer volume of talent and dedication that can be foun...d in area's DJs, artists and music lovers is reaching critical mass.
Now is the time to take it to a much larger stage.
April 2nd-8th, clubs around the city will celebrate TOGETHER: The New England Electronic Music Festival.
For one week, the electronic music scene will join up as never before. Dance bands, avant-garde aficionados, electro maniacs, anarcho-artists and techno mafia will loose their labels, loosen their inhibitions and lose their minds.
Together is also about having the whole city to celebrate what this scene has become. We want people from all walks of life to enjoy the music and the community. If dance music is not your thing, this is a perfect window into what's been going on artistically, creatively and electronically in the metro area.
Artists will be hosted by some of Boston’s premiere venues including: Royale, Paradise Rock Club, Rise Nightclub, Great Scott and Brighton Music Hall. This is only the beginning so please stay tuned for the next round of artists as well as the highly anticipated discussion panels, seminars and DJ/Producer competition.
