The first Friday of the month is just around the corner, which can only mean it's time for another multi-coloured trip down your electronic memory lane at My Aeon. For this Precursor Session, we're pulling out the big guns, with Australia's two-timing best DJ Ajax (Bang Gang, Sweat It Out, Twinsy) giving it a red hot go. Supported by Precursor residents JaseFOS and Jayd.

Ajax is best known for his musical irreverence and cut and paste mixing style. Prior to this he was a university art lecturer. He has been quoted by artists Mylo and Tiga as a talent to watch out for. Ajax is a founding member of Australian collective/production outfit/record label Bang Gang, who are signed to Modular Recordings.
Ajax toured France, the USA and UK in 2006 for Modular UK and released remix/mix cd package Spin City through Tinted Records. He mixed Ministry of Sound Mashed 1 and Ministry of Sound Mashed 2 with Bang Gang Djs in 2002 and 2004 respectively, and made a mix CD with Tiga titled In the Mix in 2005.
Since 2005, Ajax has been voted one of Australia's top 5 DJs in the inthemix 50 poll every year, taking out the number one spot in both 2006 and 2007.
In 2011 he formed the new 'D-list supergroup' Twinsey with Guy Chappell (Yacht Club DJs) and Michael Belsar (Hunting Ground). Their debut EP is set for release in 2012.
