Dekorder </a>is the Cologne-based label run by Marc Richter who records as Black to Comm and is a satellite for some of the most out and eclectic sounds of the last few years, all bound together with an eerie sense of psychedelia.

Vindicatrix is SaturnAlien cabaret and the art of the song torn every which way. Staking out alien territory from Schubert and sub-bass, between post-rave rhythm and the ruined croon of late-period Scott Walker, recent performances have seen David Aird push his entirely idiosyncratic vision into even more startling areas of sound.<br />

A genuine audio-visual fusion- Sculpture is a marriage of Dan Hayhurt’s sound and Reuben Sutherland’s animations. Pulled together from vintage and analogue equipment and pursuing a derangement of the senses, tape loops are pushed through guitar pedals, a sampler and a mixer while a mobile camera is used to zoom across the duo’s own Zoetrope-like picture disk.<br />

A personal favourite and a towering manipulator of expressive sound, Marc Richter’s endlessly morphing project is never predictable and always beautiful. Black to Comm brings magical drones from Germany and creates uncanny spaces utilising peculiar electronic sound sources, field recordings and acoustic samples. Earth, his forthcoming album on De Stijl moves into unexpected and surreally disorientating song structures, some of which will be previewed tonight with David Aird on vocals. </span><br />
