Mr. TIES isn't a dj embarked on the easy road of fashionable disposable electronic music like so many of his contemporaries. Instead, he builds up relentlessly his knowledge about club music by digging second hand record shops & getting music directly by distributors and producers. He pursues a passionate path towards being musically open-minded, and researching a true intrinsic quality in music, djing and parties he involves himself with. Mr. Ties is a talented and energetic dj that runs "homopatik", one of most renowned monthly party taking place at one of Berlin's top clubs ://about blank. There he plays fantastic marathon sets lasting around 10 hours! (the party lasts 21 hours!) where he djs electro, chicago house, techno, disco, Hi-NRG, italo with other genres thrown in the mix at some point. Doesn't matter whether they are old records or new, he blends the tracks very well together to create his powerful sets. He’s building up his reputation and following by the uplifiting effect he leaves on the audience he plays for. He lately played successfully the infamous "SNAX" party at the Berghain/Laboratory, which opened him the doors of Panorama Bar, where he played for the first time last January at just 25 years old!
