  • DENIZ KURTEL (Live) http://www.facebook.com/pages/Deniz-Kurtel/29997533986 Deniz developed a deep love and connection to the sentiments of electronic music during her studies in the USA. Growing up with constant exposure to art from her mother, an influential art initiator in Turkey, and years of intensive classical piano training left her with a professional work ethic and a passion for art. An accomplished interactive sculptor, she quickly made a name for herself in the experimental art scene combining the use of sophisticated computerized LED arrays and mirrors. Her work has been the centerpiece of countless Wolf + Lamb parties in Brooklyn, and has appeared in various art festivals and exhibitions such as Burningman, Communikey, Horizons, Love's Secret Domain, and Rabbit Hole. GADI MIZRAHI/BABY PRINCE http://www.facebook.com/WolfLamb Since he first hit the scene in 2001, Gadi Mizrahi has been one of New York's most essential new artists. As half of Wolf + Lamb, he's made a huge impact on Brooklyn's underground party scene, releasing sexy, modern house records by local artists and throwing legendary parties at The Marcy Hotel. As a producer, his deviously playful style of house has proved as infectious abroad as it is at home, earning him international praise and gigs at clubs like Fabric, Watergate and Club der Visionaire. With such prolific work as an artist and and labelhead, Gadi Mizrahi is currently one of electronic music's most influential trendsetters. Sometime around the turn of the millennium, Gadi met Zev Eisenberg at a party, and Wolf + Lamb was born almost immediately. Their methods were impressively DIY right from the start: rather than sending demos to labels who didn't fit their sound, they founded Wolf + Lamb Music and released all their own tracks digitally. Rather than playing boring gigs in Manhattan to make a buck, they leased a loft in Williamsburg and turned it into The Marcy Hotel, now one of NYC's most notorious venues, with parties that regularly run past noon the next day. In the beginning, most of W+L's artists were young and inexperienced, but Gadi coached them personally, pushing them to push themselves until their tracks were strong enough to be released. By the end of 2009, Wolf + Lamb had put out almost 70 records, received accolades from Mixmag and Groove, and been named the #3 label of the year by the online magazine Resident Advisor. Riding the momentum of Wolf+ Lamb's success, Gadi set his sights on side projects. He released a handful of excellent solo productions, first making an appearance on Wolf + Lamb's Significant Others EP with the delerious "I'll Set Your House," and then with She Don't Ep on Spectral Sound and Can't Stop This Feelin EP on Simple. He also released an EP on Crosstown Rebels with Greg Paulus of No Regular Play, a former indie-rocker who'd been converted to electronic music by a particularly explosive party at The Marcy. As Just One Night, Gadi and Paulus blend classic house tropes with weird echos of disco-punk, utilizing jagged rhythms, retro vocoders and even some languid trumpet playing. In these projects, as well as in Wolf + Lamb, Gadi shows a refined understanding of how to make a party move with sounds that are ceaselessly deep, weird and totally fresh. TANNER ROSS http://www.facebook.com/TannerRossMusic The one constant throughout the life of Tanner Ross is music, since being raised in New Jersey in a family environment heavily influenced by music new and old, to his current status as a passionate and driven DJ and producer. In High School he found himself in numerous bands playing everything from funk to punk but it was after progressing to study synthesizers and production at Bostons renowned Berklee College Of Music that things fell into place. Captivated by underground electronic music, his own productions were soon being released on labels such as Dirty Bird, Freerange, Airdrop and Culprit and this naturally led him into DJing, where he met now regular collaborators Soul Clap, and his journey became clear. Fresh out of college, with various musical projects, Tanner set out on a musical mission across the States and beyond, to such meccas of dance music as London's Fabric, and Berlin's Watergate.. With his eyes wide open and finger on the pulse he was soon forming part of a Boston supergroup SECT alongside Soul Clap. Not only is the supergroup's album a near and anticipated prospect, Tanners solo career is taking off with releases due in early 2011 on !K7, Double Standard, No 19, and the biggest coup of them all, a solo album is in the works, to be released later this year on none other than Wolf + Lamb. Its quite clear Tanners musical trail blazing is set to continue much further with FUTURE KILL http://soundcloud.com/future-kill Tickets: $10 Advance, $12 before midnight, $15 after midnight *$7 before midnight with SB tweet or valid student ID* 21 & Over Doors: 10pm / Show: 10pm
