- “For me, in eighteen years nothing has really changed. I still get that same feeling walking into the club now as I did back in the first week. The crowd is always changing, you get some old faces cropping up now and again but the one thing that is constant is the vibe. I never get bored with Subculture, it’s so fresh and I think a lot of that is the fact that music is always evolving, there is so much out there for us to find and bring to the club. I have no idea what to expect on midnight on the 31st when the place finally turns twenty-five, every time I try to second guess how a night is going to go it usually goes 100% the other way. I’ll be bringing along tracks not only that I’ve played at Subculture over the years, but also ones I remember from going to Atlantis before I became a resident. I’ve asked a lot of my friends for their standout tracks from the early days because my memory is terrible, which has resulted in me having to dig through record crates across three houses for the past few weeks.
