A future Everything closing party + AMON TOBIN after party.
On Saturday 19 May Manchester promoters iDiOSYNC & Selective Hearing will be hosting a late night event with some of the most cutting-edge names in techno, house and forward thinking bass music as part of FutureEverything festival 2012.

MARCEL DETTMANN
[ostgut ton / 50weapons]
Marcel Dettmann was born in the GDR in 1977 and was raised from within this new East-German youth culture. His music has been described as techno 'from the dark side'. He has DJ'd since 1994 including an unbroken residency at Berlin’s Ostgut Ton/Berghain since 1999. Dettmann became a producer and remixer in 2006. Beside Ostgut Ton, his self-run label MDR is based on ideals of no compromise, independence, and facilitating the “quest for the optimal track”. He also plays at Berlin’s Technosaur Hard Wax which supports his continuous exploration of electronic music development.

LEVON VINCENT
[ostgut ton / novel sound / deconstruct]
Cutting his teeth as a DJ in 90's New York, Levon Vincent witnessed first hand the impact of former Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s ‘zero tolerance’ policy on New York’s nightlife, and saw his gigs and hence his livelihood dry up overnight. Vincent went back to school, in his words, to “take a negative and turn it into a positive”, and devoted himself to learning the many complexities of music theory and production. In 2008 his star began to rise, with the first signs coming not from NYC but London, where his tracks drew raucous receptions from the Fabric crowd. Manchester has long been a fan of Vincent, so what better way to welcome him back to play both for Selective Hearing & Idiosync at FutureEverything festival.

JOHN TALABOT
[permanent vacation / hivern disc / young turks]
Enigmatic Spanish DJ and producer John Talabot is known for his sun-soaked/washed-out, blissful, house music. The Barcelona based producer recently released the album FIN on the Permanent Vacation imprint, which received critical acclaim. Having previously remixed the likes of The XX, The Glasser & Teenage Fantasy his profile has continued to rise, having played an absolutely riveting eclectic set at last years Jamie XX Presents WHP, we've asked him to come and play, what we believe will turn out to be one of the highlights of the summer.

FALTY DL
[swamp81 / planet mu]
FaltyDL is New York's Drew Lustman. His nostalgic tracks are immersed in the old New York and Chicago garage sound but still create a more subtle/futuristic Big Apple version mashing together influences from hip hop, dubstep, garage, soul, jungle and electronica.

DAMU
[keysound / Silverback]
Damu (a.k.a. Sam Schorb) sure hasn't wasted any time while working his way into the UK bass conversation. In less than a year, the Manchester-based producer has released an impressive series of EPs, including offerings on the Local Action, Silverback, and Keysound labels. The latter is also home to his recently released debut full-length, Unity.
