  • On May 11th our tour of Detroit Techno's hall of fame continues with aplomb, as we invite Alan Oldham, aka DJ T-1000, to London to take the reins. To say the producer, DJ, radio anchor and comic book artist has had a slice of the action over the years would be an understatement - he IS a slice of the action. From spreading the word of techno on his 'Fast Forward' radio show and working at UR in the label's infancy, right through to his stellar discography and glittering portfolio of record artwork (not least the sleeve art for Derrick May's seminal 'Nude Photo), Oldham is intertwined in to Detroit techno in almost every way, and we're hyped to have him take centre stage at the third A History Of Detroit party. Alongside T-1000, we welcome back Stephen Brown after a stellar live performance at our Subject Detroit shindig back in November, as well as John Heckle, who is fast becoming a staple ingredient in the AHOD diet.
