Coming from a musical family background it has always played a key part in his life. From playing Hip Hop and eventually moving on to early House and Breaks and then Hardcore/ Drum & Bass where he became friends with the likes of DJ Hype, Fabio, Remarc/Rob & Dave, Foster (Roast), D-bridge and many others. Still inspired by DJ’s like Frankie Knuckles and Masters @ Work Joe slowly moved away from Drum & Bass/Jungle and pursued playing House. He has excelled in DJing House & Techno, winning his wage from: Glass House, Ministry of Sound, Pacha, The Scala, The Honey Club, Medicine, AKA/END – touring back home to: Miami, California, New York, Ibiza, Germany, Russia, France, Spain and as far as Asia destroying dance floors along the way. He gained a residency at the legendary Turnmills in 2001 and moved to Shoreditch in East London. Joe continues to do what his names suggests when he performs, using 2-4 decks, with looping and effects. His DJ sets have ignited dance floors around the world for some time and he can be found running his Brake Horse Records imprint launched in November 2009. Joe has many remixes and original tracks out this year, including two CD album compilations out in 2011, and a summer world tour. Joe has never spent any time in a glass box, but he has shared the DJ box with: Silicone Soul, Tom Stephan, Mr C, Matthias Tanzmann and Carl Cox to name but a few. With residencies at the legendary The Cross (RIP), Redlight, In Bed with Space, S.LR in Romania and his continued involvement with Latvia’s leading Techno party Danscotheek/Pencilhause, his potential to excel is beyond question. Mark Dale (Rebel Audio Recordings) Mark Dale has been on the underground scene since the age of 14 and frequently would end up at warehouse parties to hear big brother Colin Dale and Fabio play. Quickly getting the bug for electronic house music, he started playing at house parties and landed a job at the legendary Passion Records on Oxford St. Always being on the decks in the shop, he made a name for himself and got his first paid gig, a Spiral Tribe warehouse party in an old abandoned school in Kilburn. Since then he has had numerous residencies, first being Deep Space with Colin Dale and Colin Faver, Second was Vapour Space with Mr C and Matthew B. Mark continues to have a finger on the pulse of London’s underground scene, promoting parties in Shoreditch under the names of Megawatt, Metronome, Four, Discotron and taking over the basements of the infamous Retox and Redlight club nights. His first release was the Tech House classic Nightlife remixed by Asad Rizvi on Groovetech Records, which also was featured on Fabric’s Album 02 mixed by Terry Francis. Mark continues to promote and produce and he will always be deeply involved in music. He is also the head man of both, Rebel Audio Recordings and Electric Boogie Publishing/ Westbury music.
