We welcome back one of our favourite guests this May; the ever impressive Dyed Soundorom returns to Mint Club, joined by the live house duo Genius Of Time for their Leeds debut.
Tonight is one of a series of 'Garden Get Togethers', a shindig thrown with the help of Croatia's magnificent Garden Festival, where we're hosting a party this summer.
Parisian Dyed Soundorom needs little in the way of introduction. A DC 10 Ibiza resident for 3 years now, as well as a hot shot producer on labels Freak n Chic and Tsuba, Dyed's un-imitable groove lead style ticks all the right boxes. His new label Appollina, a project set up with friends Shonky and Dan Ghenacia has taken the house game by storm; the first release- Shonky's "Minneapolis EP' receiving rave reviews since it's release in February. This will be the charismatic Parisian's third appearance at Louche, fastly establishing himself as one of our favourite DJ's and we fully expect him to deliver the goods once again.
Hailing from Göteborg Sweden, Genius Of Time have been putting tip top quality house music out since 2010, on their own imprint Aniara and the excellent Royal Oak Records. Their productions are raw and expressive, sounding like music made in the heart of Chicago rather than Scandanavia. We've already had the pleasure of witnessing their live act, at our Fabric debut in March, and we were totally blown away by their originality. Performed with a baffling array of hardware but no laptop, their shows really give proper definition to the term 'live set'.
We return to our monthly slot in Mint after an invigorating month off, and with Dyed and Genius Of Time and the Garden Festival team on shift, it's looking like an absolute pearler.
