This is it, ladies and gentlemen. In collaboration with Motoriks’ BFF’s and lawyers at Bang Gang 12s, Motorik is launching their very own record label, and the first plane leaving Motorik’s new terminal at Surry Hills international airport is none other than CSMNT61, with a slice of slammin’ indie deep techno called “Keep Holding On”.
So… They’re celebrating by doing what they do best – celebrating. There’s going to be flashlights, lasers and potentially even dancefloor explosions.
This April 13, we’re saying yeah to black friday and bringing out our black tie – suits, tuxedos, little black dresses (the more audaciously plunging the neckline, the better).
Through the smoky haze, you can observe motivational speaking legends The Finger Prince explain how you can techno in 3 easy steps, whilst fashion legend Jensen Interceptor (ex Light Year) will do the only thing he knows how – pump bangers at 128bpm. ViVi has a peaktime birthday set ready to flare, and CSMNT61 take the reigns to celebrate getting back on the horse and (we hope) straight to the top of the Beatport charts. In the compact but slammin’ K-lub, Mirror Mirror make their motorik debut after getting in heaps of police related trouble at the warehouse rave, whilst young gun/k legend Mickey The Bird gets his chance to demonstrate how he do. Our favourite tin hat wearing dude Moonchild is on warm up. He’s getting the only deep house set we’ll let anyone ever get away with at Motorik.
Look – it’s simple. The boys at Motorik just like having fun with techno. It’s free. If you were at the resolutely sold out launch of light year’s moderation, you know. Yeah, you just know. But they aren’t resting on their laurels – They’re just here to dimensioneer to the next level.
