The Garden Festival Warm Up w/ Greg Wilson
Future Disco set sail on a very special Bank Holiday Boat Party with the legend Greg Wilson for an official warm up to this year’s Garden Festival in Croatia.
For the past three years Future Disco have presented some of the best parties the Adriatic Seas have ever seen. Captained by Sean Brosnan and Dom Chung the parties have been the highlight of the festival, as they set sail for four hours on the beautiful Croatian waters. This year is no different, except Future Disco are warming up in serious style with a very special bank holiday boat party on the Thames with DJ Legend Greg Wilson.
Greg Wilson will be a name familiar to most, having been a key DJ responsible for the start of culture itself in the UK back in the eighties, even touching upon a time at the Hacienda club in Manchester. Today Greg has found even greater interest in his unique DJ sets, full of his own personal re-edits and constructed live through his Revox. Greg Wilson the producer and edit maestro has constructed an album for Tirk – Credit For The Edit as well as editing everyone from The XX to Crazy P along the way.
He is joined by shipmates and Future Disco residents Sean Brosnan and Dom Chung. The two DJs have been playing records for well over twenty years between them, notching up residencies in some of the countries best clubs. Dom best known for his time spent as Liverpool’s Chibuku resident. Sean runs Needwant records and compiles the Future Disco compilations, volume five only recently released to much critical acclaim.
Once the boat has docked we will be continuing the party ‘til the early hours. Details of location and venue are to be announced.
The start of an extra long Bank Holiday, Greg Wilson and beautifully decked out boat, you could be mad for missing this one. Tickets will sell out as they do every time Greg is in town so make sure you buy yours fast.
