Hailing from Leipzig, Germany, Kassem Mosse (aka Gunnar Wendel) releases his take on Deep Techno & House on a host of respected international labels, including FXHE (US), workshop, Laid (GER) and nonplus+ (UK). His productions have received international recognition with their unusual amalgamation of various electronic styles, ranging from Electro to Deep House and Techno. His sound has been compared to anything from Theo Parrish, Andy Stott, Basic Channel, Nightmares on Wax and "Surgeon played at the wrong speed" (boomkat.com). Kassem Mosse has performed livesets throughout mainland Europe, the US and Japan since 2005. In 2011 he launched a label called Ominira together with Farrah Mekas.
His productions are supported by Omar S, Ikonika, Patrice Scott, Marcel Dettmann, Tama Sumo, Redshape, Tibcurl, Norman Nodge, Cassy, XDB, Move D, Hans Nieswandt, Ame, K-soul, PDR, Philip Sherburne, Lerosa, Andy Stott, Octex, Chaton, Ripperton, Murat Tepeli, Ryan Elliott, Peter van Hoesen, Modyfier, Ellen Allien and Damian Lazarus among others.
