If the name is not indication enough, SAM ZENN is a DJ at peace with the music gods, and has been from a very young age. Sam fell in love with making music at the age of 10 when he got a keyboard for his birthday. Didn’t take long for his parents to recognize his natural talent, and so they enrolled him in piano classes and set him on the course he was meant to take. By 2003, Sam was producing his own sounds but knew that to truly be great, he would have to master the art of sound making first. With a university degree already under his belt, Sam completed his studies in Sound Engineering and Audio Design in 2009 and set his sights clearly on the ultimate goal: “To travel the world making, sharing and delivering the best in dance music.”
First inspired by Deep Dish’s Global Underground Tour, SAM ZENN now takes his musical queues from the likes of Carl Cox, John Digweed, Nick Warrenn, Omid 16B, Sasha and Steve Lawler, just to name a few. Today, SAM ZENN is a resident DJ at Vancouver’s hottest after-hours club, GORGOMISH, and a true rising star in the local house music scene. Ben Colmen was born and raised in Hungary.
He lived and breathed music from a young age and was a huge classic rock fan. He first heard electronic music in early 2003 and promptly set up his first studio. After DJing for a while he founded "Special Tech Night" in 2005. He quickly became known across Hungary, playing at and throwing many great parties. In the fall of 2008 Ben moved to Vancouver, Canada to start his career. In 2010 Ben signed on with Dot Dot Records, and Vancouver's Hi-life Records shortly after. His first album "Africa" EP was released by England's Celestial Recordings in 2011. This brought forth a lot of recognition and support from international DJ's such as Stonebridge, Sander Kleinenberg, Roger Sanchez, Richard Dinsdale and many more...
Following the successful release of his album Ben was contracted to be one of Celestial Recordings main artists. In 2012 ben opened his own records label Kiko Records
