Mindelight - live (Mexico)
'Mindelight' is one of the most powerful and groovy psytrance live acts in Mexico.
Hernan Arber and Javier Calzada are musical partners in this groovy-funky-moving-trance group.
This group has been going for a year and a half, with a debut gig next to the legendary Total Eclipse, Space Cat and Visual Paradox. Now they play each weekend in different parts of the Mexican country, being the favourite among party assistants due to their BIG charisma and vibe.
Their tracks go from extremely full on to groovy and melodic moving tunes, always with their characteristic live electronic guitar sets, reminding us of the good old rock n roll days. Their track 'Roadhouse Blues', a tribute to the psychedelic 70s and the Doors- is a top favourite among tranceheads.
They've been invited to play in the biggest psytrance festivals in Mexico, for example in the Goa Sound Festival, performing for almost 10,000 perople and the Earthdance 2003, a 3 festival.
They have shared stages with legends like Deedrah, GMS, Astral Projections and Total Eclipse etc.
Currently 'Mindelight' is preparing a remix of an Antidote's track, as well as preparing a 'Mindelight Album'!.
Currently 'Mindelight' is the Mexican live act with the most released tracks in national and international compilations, being the most recent a release next to GMS, Bamboo Forest, Deedrah etc.
In 2004, Mindelight are moving to Australia seeking new adventures and more time on the dancefloor!!
Dj Andrreas (Mexico)
Dj Andreeas has succeeded in the trance scene thanks to his very own style, which can be best described as an "energetic and peach flavoured trance." Whilst only 21 years of age, he has been djing for four years and since then, has become a favourite on all Mexico's dancefloors. With a range that goes from progressive to full on trance, coming between minimal and his personal favourite : morning trance.
Andrreas is a current member of one of Mexico's main trance crews : Kinetik, the organisation that launched his career. He has played next to artists like : Deedrah, Synthetic, Loopus in Fabula, Noma, Sun Project and more.
He has played at almost all Mexican cities and festivals such as Plusquam Label Party, Neurobiotic Label Party and a memorable performance on New Years Eve in Thailand as the 'Kho Payam Full Moon Festival 2003."
In 2003, Andrreas joins the South African based label : Nano Records, home of international acclaimed acts like Protoculture, Riknadink, Electric Ant, Hydrophonic & Broken Toy.
Also in 2003, he released his first track, "Sawasdee" next to Dj Eclypso in the Earthdance 2003 compilation.
This year , 2004, will mark a new era for Andrreas, he and Loco (part of the acclaimed Mexican liveact 'Mindelight') are moving to Australia, to expand his sounds and explore new territories, keep producing parties , playing and the most important of all- Dancing!!
