  • Club Azuli Present The Last Saturday Night Ever At The Cross! On the 29th December, Club Azuli has the honour of putting on a party for the last ever Saturday night at The Cross, a matter of days before the legendary London venue is demolished to make way for Channel Tunnel developments. Azuli and The Cross are two of clubland’s longest running and most respected names, so Club Azuli are determined to do them justice with a special party across 4 rooms! Club Azuli welcome a Marquee dedicated to 15 years of club classics alongside the legendary arches of The Cross. The addition of the Marquee will make this a very special night to remember and help make it the big night it needs to be. Club Azuli is world renowned for delivering the best in upfront electronic edged house. There will definitely be more than a hint of nostalgia to this night with the Marquee, but still bursting from the speakers will be the best up front, dirty house and electro grooves, alongside the more soulful and funky sounds of the second arch, delivered by a world class line up. Excuse the pun, but there’s a real buzz about Audiofly. This Anglo/Italian duo got together in 2002, and since then have become one of the hottest names in dance music. Their productions have been snapped up by labels with undeniable ‘cool’ factor including Get Physical, Harthouse and SAW Recordings. They are in high demand as DJs and travel the globe to spin their unique underground house and techno….and Club Azuli has got them as headliners for the final Saturday at The Cross! In support, Club Azuli has snapped up the services of Ricky Montanari, one of Italy’s legendary house music DJ / Producers. Ricky has been producing quality house music since the early 90’s and has a long relationship with Azuli who have often been the outlet for his music to the UK. His unmistakable phat electro house grooves are made for the arches at The Cross and he’s sure to deliver. Also in the main room is Kamisshake, another regular name on Azuli Records. Kamisshake is world renowned for his hypnotic, sexy beats and twisted house. Another inspired booking for the Saturday finale! In the Marquee, Club Azuli is proud to present a rare appearance from a DJ legend, Danny Rampling stepping up to say his goodbyes to The Cross with a set of classics from the last 15 years. Danny Rampling has undoubtedly earned his reputation and this is one appearance which should not be missed! David Piccioni, the man behind Azuli, will also make his appearance in the Marquee spinning some of the best tunes from his vast collection of classics. He knows what The Cross has meant to clubbers over the last 15 years and can be relied upon to deliver a set that will do it justice. And Azuli stalwarts Tony English and Marc de Groot will also be digging deep for the classics on the night. In the lounge the headline act is Jimpster, one of the UK’s most versatile DJs. As boss of the Freerange label he extends the freestyle approach to his DJing, creating a deep and funky sound sure to find favour with the Azuli trash glamour crowds. Jimpster is ably supported by Azuli’s own Sean Brosnan paying his respects to The Cross with a set of the finest quality house music. And, of course in the third arch you can get a serious dose of uplifting house, hosted by Togetherness, with Rob Marmot, DJ Marble and friends. “SATURDAYS WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN - SAY GOOD BYE WITH CLUB AZULI!
