It's taken nearly a month to recover from our Easter double header, but now Datatransmission.co.uk is back for another edition of our monthly residency at Shoreditch’s superb East Village. Previous DT guests to have shaken the walls at the club include Alexis Raphael, Waze & Odyssey, WiLDKATS, CSY & Stripes, T.Williams and more. For our June instalment, Made to Play’s funking, disco-infused house pusher Oliver $ will rise to the challenge of headlining one of our frantic, on-point parties.
The Berlin native has enjoyed critical acclaim for his huge track Doin’ Ya Thang which was the most downloaded track of 2011 on the Beatport chart, setting him up for a string of high-profile gigs, remixes and releases. Joining Oliver as he careens through a mix of bubbling bouncy numbers will be our very own deep house don Lawrence Daffurn, plus rising stars Williams & Du Bois and the latest addition to the DT DJs roster, Karen, a slick purveyor of rolling beats and hot grooves.
Upstairs in the bar area will be a host of up and coming local talent, fronted by Scotty Saunders and featuring Dan Brown, Ant Alford and Shardai B2B Anna Wall. Both floors will be open until the early hours, for the perfect combination of unpretentious partying with the venue's excellent custom-built soundsystem.
