Venue announcement. Biiiiiiiiiig! Sunny afternoon to all o' y'all. We can finally talk and tell you everything... finally! Well, almost everything... :) First up the incredible other headliner can now be announced in the form of the myth, the legend, the outright incredible musical institution that is Mr Kerri Chandler! Kerri 'Kaoz' Chandler's contribution to house music knows no bounds! Growing up in a family of jazz musicians in New Jersey, Kerri's father, a DJ too provided Kerri with a background in the origins of soul, disco and the New York Underground Sound. Accompanying his father to gigs, Kerri began playing records at the Rally Racquet Club in East Orange, New Jersey at the age of thirteen.Aged fourteen, he began working in studios and producing music Since the release of his first single "SuperLover/Get It Off" on Atlantic Records in 1991, Kerri has released numerous records. Founder of the incredible Madhouse Records and MadTech Records we mega. mega hyped to welcome Kerri to the mullet stage.... oh yes!! Next up, Deeeeeeetron. Or Deetron if you'd rather. The mountain peaks of Berne, Switzerland isn't the first place you'd pick as a Twin Town for either of the industrial skylines of Detroit or Chicago but it was from these environs that Sam Geiser AKA Deetron came to keep the legacy of the windy & motor city machine funks burning. Deetron has produced some of the most timeless pieces of recent time and birthing 2010 masterpieces ‘Each Step’ ft Seth Troxler (with whom he's about to go back into the studio with) on Circus Company and ‘Collide’ on Green and the incredible The Maze... plus of course amazing output this year... Location, location, location! We can finally let you know tt something about the new location... we're just dotting the ole 'i's' and crossing the... is it 't's'? But what we can tell you is that the mulletover Halloween extravaganza will be in a unique location on Wallis Road, Hackney Wick... spread across two venues and some added extras which we'll be hitting you up about shortly, this is the most exciting space we've come across of recent times and feels very 'mulletover'... taking it back underground! There'll be more photos and info soon come but we reckon that's more than enough to be going on with for now... E X C I T E D ! ! ! Oh and all the £17.50 release have now gone. We're cracking through the £20 release so if you're as excited about the about the above as we are suggest moving quick smart on these. Capacity is going to be limited for this one... don't miss out people. Going to blow! Peace out mullet family xx ********************** First Halloween Artists Announced: Cassy, Subb An, Boddika and Huxley!! Oh yes, oh yay! The first round of artists for Halloween weekend, are ready to emerge from the ghoulish darkness – we welcome Cassy, Subb-an, Boddika and Huxley into the freaky light of this afternoon of greatness... yes, yes... Full details below people and a lowdown on London Pleasure Gardens from Mr Star... There's but a handful of the £12.50 tix left on this link here. These will only be available until Thursday at 8pm then we're onto the £15 release everywhere. Don't sleep! x Feast your eyes on these: One of the world’s leading female DJs, Cassy has built her reputation around drawing people in with her unique beguiling style. She stands strong on a firm bed of releases on some of today's most revered techno labels, including Ostgut and Perlon. Beginning her story at the beginnings of Panoramabar, she possesses a body of work that includes collaborations with Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Dave the Hustler and Mathew Jonson. Subb-an has made a serious impression on the world of techno through his releases on pretty much every credible and cutting-edge electronic label going, from Spectral, to Hot Creations to Trapez and Leftroom. The young producer hailing from Birmingham is recognised as one of the UK's most talented protagonists of the underground scene, and has a huge remix of Tiga 'Pleasure from the bass' about to drop on Crosstown Rebels and a likely contender for the soundtrack to the summer. Named after the baddie from Robocop, Boddika is the man behind some of the most distinctive, visceral electronic music to grace our ears in recent times. Also one half of duo Instra:mental alongside Kid Drama he’s also clocked up hours in the studio with Skream and dBridge of Bad Company, and is the man behind Nonplus records which has brought us releases from Kassem Mosse, Jimmy Edgar and the beautiful Harrier ATTK/Gershwin by Actress. Having seen initial underground success as a garage producer, Huxley has recently emerged amid a tide of deep house producers on labels like Cecile that has seen him rise to the top of the pile with further releases on Tsuba, his own new Saints & Sonnets, as well as Leftroom and Morris Audio. mulletover have never been ones to sit still and Halloween 2012 is set to take on new and exciting proportions. On Saturday 3rd November mulletover will be making its debut at The London Pleasure Gardens. Situated in the heart of the Olympic East End, London Pleasure Gardens is a major new arts and entertainment destination. mulletover Halloween 2012 will take place in THE HUB and THE DOME at LPG, two sound proof, projection mapped dance arenas and performance spaces with licenses till 6am. We're fully aware of what happened on the weekend at Bloc and we're sorry for the misfortune to the organisers and the people who bought tickets and travelled from far afield. “Although the circumstances surrounding the closure of the Bloc Festival are yet to be made public, the main issues around the use of the site seemed to centre on people gaining access to the event, and excessive queues once they were on site. We are planning a much smaller party than Bloc, similar in size to our Halloween events of the last few years (around 4,000 people). This capacity will easily fit in the dome and the hub, plus we will also be erecting a 3rd structure which will have no music, but lots of spooky goings on, so there will be plenty of space for people to fit in the tents with the music in. With less people coming on to site, there shouldn't also be the issues of people queuing excessively to gain admission to the event. Rob Star We still believe that The Pleasure Gardens is the perfect site for this event to be held and will not be moving the event unless forced to do so by the relevant authorities or some other freakish occurrence (something we've become used to over the years!). As we already mentioned there's but a handful of the £12.50 tix left on R$N then we're onto the £15 release everywhere. Don't sleep people... this one gonna be biiiiiiiig! mulletlove xx Very Limited Early Birds available at £12.50 and £15 on sale now Standard tickets £30
