We return to Plastic People (with it's new and improved system) next Friday 20th July, to herald the arrival of the latest talented artist on the H&P label, SOPHIE.
The eagle-eyed amongst you will recognise SOPHIE either from witnessing his thrilling live show over recent months or through his yet-to-be released productions which have won approval amongst the Numbers and Werk camps in recent months. Or you may also have heard his rapturous remix of Auntie Flo's Highlife, (here). His debut release on H&P - Nothing More To Say / EEEHHH is guaranteed to be MASSIVE. Check out more here.
His live show will be complimented by a wealth of talent including our old Glaswegian ally, the very talented and most exciting DJ around, Jackmaster who has been doing rather well for himself since we booked him last.
Jam City's debut album has rightly been causing a stir recently and he'll open the proceedings alongside Ghostly affiliated, Jeffrey SFire and Spanish lothario, Benito.
This is the first time both Jack and Jam have also played together and you do not want to miss out.
The highlight of the night will of course be SOPHIE's stonking live set - "I try to make music which is fun to dance to—that should be the loudest voice talking. I think it would be extremely exciting if music could take you on the same sort of high-thrill 3-minute ride as a theme park roller coaster." SOPHIE
