SUBSONIC PRESENTS 'END OF THE LINE' FEATURING GUIDO SCHNEIDER
Following a memorable bash with Stimming, Sydney's own 'Rolls Royce of Kick-On Options', Subsonic's End Of The Line long weekend sub-brand, returns to the Abercrombie on Monday June 11 for a headlining performance from pioneering German producer Guido Schneider.
Continuing the proven End of the Line formula, Schneider will be flanked by Subsonic New Zealand favorite Hayden Strom from FIORD aka ANTIX and assortment of Sydney’s finest local proponents of house, techno and more eclectic electronic sounds over 2 inside and outdoors areas for a marathon fiesta that begins at midday and runs till past midnight. Subsonic specialist Volta will again make the trip up from Melbourne for the gig, while Thug Records mainman Carlos Zarate also returns to the Subsonic fray. With plenty of other DJs raring to go, and a crowd of the sonically-clued in dancing cognoscenti, Schneider will be in good company when he takes to the Abercrombie – as will you.

GUIDO SCHNEIDER - A CLOSER LOOK:
Schneider's production and DJ pedigree is beyond reproach: The German has continued to hone his distinct take on minimal tech house for the past 15 years, laying the foundations in the 90s on his own Neue Welten imprint and releasing on Poker Flat under his Glowing Glisses alias with vocalist Florian Schirmacher and continuing to churn out noteworthy releases ever since.
Without descending into a greatest hits list, Schneider's collaboration with Andre Galluzzi, 'Albertino' [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWfPcsm_HWA], was one of the club cuts of '07/'08, being heavily supported by the likes of Luciano and Villalobos. Schneider's collaborations with Sammy Dee (Pantytec), firstly as Schneider & Radecki and then on the Poker Flat 12" 'Styleways' (which was licensed to Richie Hawtin’s rightfully revered 'DE9: Transitions' album) also deserves praise, while he issued a timely reminder of his talent last year with the track 'Zusammen In B', a cut supported by those at the vanguard of the underground club scene. Of late, Schneider has reworked Solomun & Stimming and Tiefschwarz ft Cassy, adding to a remix catalogue that also includes reworks of Plastikman and Steve Bug's 'Loverboy'.
As anyone who saw Schneider throw down at Mad Racket on his last Australia trip will attest to, the man knows how to hold a groove and turn a party into a frenzied ritual. With an extended set outdoors at the Abercrombie, you should be somewhat excited to see what he'll deliver.
