Apples & Pears Cocktail Den and Bar and Comuniart invite you to BOOZE: a month long exhibition and series of events that explore the relationship between 21st century British society and alcohol.
'From cheeky kids swigging cider in our parks to cocktails at the Savoy. Alcopop fuelled carnage on the high street while indoors it’s a glass of wine and a cuddle on the sofa: Britain today has a complex and varied relationship with booze.
Like all relationships, it can fly people to dizzying heights: mad, lucid, comical ecstasy; as well as descending them into ruin. This exhibition explores the phenomenon that is Booze: its blessings, its curses and its role as the key ingredient to the British mating ritual today.'
You are invited to the Opening Show, which, besides new, exciting work from a diverse range of emerging artists will also feature performances by numerous talented performers including Milly Blue, Jonny's Enigma and James Broughton. Finishing off with The Fuss and headliner: Mr Henry Von moving you till late with mesmerising house and techno.
Throughout the month, the exhibition will also feature further performances, workshops, competitions and a closing auction.
