  • Welcome to yet another fine installment of Ritual, the filthiest and nastiest event in the solar system. This week, we welcome the following taste-makers to pleasure your ear lobes with their gramophone devices. ------------ TRIAGE: http://soundcloud.com/triage The production trio known as Triage is comprised of the integrated talents of Liar, Debt, and Seth Norman. Combined, they’re armed with 30 years of experience behind the decks and in the studio, in addition to a degree from the Berklee College of Music. The three forged a production partnership that has steadily risen over the last few years to profound popularity on the global stage. Triage's influences and musical contributions cover the broken beat spectrum, despite cutting their teeth in Portland's Drum & Bass scene. Their first vinyl release on LimeDubs, Bushido, with labelmate SPL, claimed the attention of jocks and the online press alike. Since then, a string of solid releases cemented their reputation as innovative producers. True to their experimental roots, Triage earned critical acclaim with their Drum and Bass remix of Excision’s legendary track No Escape as well as their inaugural breakbeat effort, Bolt Action/Nautical Machine, a joint project with rising US Techfunk artist and production partner, Jaden. With releases on Rottun, Lime Dubs, Hollow Point, Onset Audio, Requiem, Trust in Music, Vicious Audio, Bombtraxx, and multiple vinyl releases, Triage’s discography speaks for itself. Tightly coiled composition, intelligent sound design, and trend-setting production have earned the trio the attention of the genres heaviest of hitters: Dieselboy, Excision, Datsik, Babylon System, Antiserum, Vaski, 6Blocc, and Downlink, on the short list. 2010 was a big year for Triage, kicking off with a remix of Datsik & Excision's ‘Boom’ [Rottun Recordings] and received heavy support from dubstep's elite players. Their highly successful dubstep remix of Psidream's ‘Tech 9’ hit Beatport's Top 20 and found itself on countless mixes around the world. Hollow Point collaborations with SPL and The Bassist brought major heat with the "The Valhalla EP" featuring Pistol Pants, Debutante, Pitbull and Valhalla, all of which bolted up the charts within the first week of release. In the works now is another Techfunk offering with Jaden, collaborations with MC Messinian, a vinyl release on Requiem Audio, as well as their long awaited full length album forthcoming on Hollow Point Recordings. With a heavy stateside and international schedule [Australia, New Zealand, Belgium] these three are driven to make Triage a household name, with both exceptional production, and explosive, energetic, and exciting performances. ------------ SET TIMES! 2:00-3:00 Audio One 1:00-2:00 Triage 12:00-1:00 Ground Control 11:00-12:00 BRC 10:00-11:00 Glitch Report Ritual has proudly become an icon in the Bay Area dubstep scene and solidified itself as the biggest dubstep weekly on the west coast.
