We've been Vegetables for six months now and it feels good. To celebrate our half-year birthday at Sternchen, we've gathered together an audio-visual assault that will make your ear canal and eyeballs explode, centrifugally reform back into their respective sockets, then explode again.

Gracing our refurbished basement dancefloor will be two guest, one of which is the amazing Danish musician KARSTEN PFLUM. With five full length releases and a string of EPs in his bag for labels like Jenka, Hymen, Ad Noiseam, Mindwaves Music and many others including extensive radio play. Karsten Pflum pays tribute to the glory days of IDM without losing track of the future of the genre, exploring the boundaries of heavy bass-driven dubstep, frantic jungle and breakcore, combining extreme ambience with hard complex rhythmic programming. His live shows have been slamming Europe for a number of years so be prepared for a genre-defying ride of aural delight.

Direct from London, TH'IDIOT joins Pflum on the dancefloor with fat acid braindance burbling forth from synths and drum machines. We're proud to announce that this marks another one of our guests' first Berlin show and it will be a stormer. Our Ambient Floor will host two eye-wateringly good A/V-sets with two acts we are really excited about:
THE EBERT BROTHERS are Axel and Michael Ebert, an artist duo living and working in Berlin. They started to collaborate in 2006, first creating video art pieces, then moving more and more towards music production, accompanied by their own visuals. Their performances can currently be experienced in clubs and galleries in Berlin.
On stage the Ebertbrothers perform with an ever-evolving set of synths, drum machines and software, creating soundscapes that shift between noise, melancholy, mangled beats and wide spaces. The intense musical collage is accompanied by their own visual material.

BETON is a joint venture of telematique and u-matic (video), Bogger and Miwon (audio).It focuses on the basic material of urban form, from particles to the surface and concrete architecture. The poetic quality of concrete derives from its formability and universality: The amount of possibilities is countless. We meet concrete at every place, all over the world.
BETON is performed completely in real time: The visuals consist of dedicated footage, which is recombined and set in motion in tight sync with the live played music. The assembly of components – sounds, images, sync-signals – creates an audiovisual performance that introduces to the beauty of the urban desert.
