Creamfields Central Europe

  • Creamfields Festival expands limits in music perception in a new direction and becomes a distinctive phenomenon for hundreds of thousands of young people. In the Czech Republic the festival took place 3 times and became one of the most important music events on the Czech scene. After 4 years break Creamfields comes back and this time to South Moravia – to the Breclav airport. The town of Breclav is an important traffic junction. It is close to the borders of four countries and it is easily accessible from Prague (250 km), Bratislava (80 km), Vienna (80 km) and Budapest (260 km). Although Creamfields Central Europe is dedicated to audience mostly from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria and Hungary, it is estimated that thousands of fans from other European countries will arrive too. Festival capacity is 30,000 people and it is expected that the event will become the most remarkable one in the Central European region in the summer of 2008. On 7 stages Creamfields Central Europe will present more than 30 artists from all over the world. Another 30 artists and bands will come from the Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary and Slovakia. Organizers: Mersey Agency, Slovakia Promotion and Techno.cz <b>Useful Information</b> The Creamfields Central Europe festival takes place on 12th July 2008, but it’s possible for you to stay in the area for the whole weekend. On Friday 11th July a warm up party take place in part of the festival venue – on the Kiss stage. The party starts at 5 pm and the programme consists of the performances of the following bands and DJs: Tata Bojs, Gangalabasta, Voodooyoudoo?, Greatest Hits Collective, The Fakes, Le Pneumatiq and DJ Ibe. It’s possible to stay the whole weekend at the campsite just by the festival venue. The camp will be open from 2 pm on 10th July until 13th July. B&#345;eclav town is the biggest traffic junction in Moravia. You can find information about the town at www.breclav.org and the unique Lednice-Valtice area at www.jm-unesco.cz. Travelling to the festival: The closest airports are: Brno (Ryanair) – 31 miles, Bratislava (Skyeurope) – 50 miles, Vienna – 50 miles and Prague (Skyeurope) – 155 miles. You are recommended to use the Skyeurope airline service. With a Creamfields ticket you can obtain a 10% discount on the cost of a flight with Skyeurope. Land Transport: B&#345;eclav lies on the motorway D1, which connects the cities of Prague, Brno and Bratislava. The journey by car from Prague takes approx 2 hours 20 minutes. From Bratislava, 50 minutes and from Brno only 35 minutes. From Vienna you travel via Reinthal and the journey takes about 40 minutes. Train and coach connections are also good. There will be a shuttle bus service starting at 14.00 and departing every 20 minutes between B&#345;eclav railway station and the festival site at the airport.
