It’s party time again! We are hosting another one of our friendly get-togethers at
The Griffin on July 3rd. Beg to Differ, and Kaviar Disco will all be spinning
their wares from 9pm until late, and as ever with us, it’s a free event!
Beg to Differ are Nick Chacona & Roy Dank, a pair of musicos who release on
labels like Moodmusic, This Is Not An Exit and The Wurst Music Co (which Roy
runs) when they aren’t pushing their own distinct brand of disco fried house
music in clubs around the world. Their boogie-fried sound gets championed by
tastemakers like Wolf & Lamb, Tim Sweeny and Mark E, so that should give you
an idea of what to expect.
Kaviar Disco Club, meanwhile, pull together great acts such as Tanner Ross,
Simian Mobile Disco and Slow Hands to play for them in New York at their
excellent parties. Their remixes and productions have also been gaining
attention for their deep house disco funk ideals, and will no doubt litter the set
they play for us on the night.
