Amongst the most appreciated and much awaited music, arts and electronic culture festivals in Italy and internationally, Club To Club Alfa Romeo MiTo will celebrate its 12th edition in Turin, from 8th to 11th November 2012.
An Italian festival with a European vocation. (following its recent events staged in Istanbul), with a consolidated and unique identity in the music festivals scenario, Club To Club Alfa Romeo MiTo will offer its well-tested mix of worldwide acclaimed artists and unforgettable locations: an exclusive circuit of baroque theatres (Teatro Carignano), contemporary art centres (Fondazione Sandretto, the festival's new headquarters), clubs (Hiroshima Mon Amour, Lapsus, Fluido and Chalet at Parco del Valentino), post industrial pavilions (Lingotto Fiere), historical squares (Piazza Carignano), creative districts (San Salvario), classical auditoriums, in the week during which Torino is the international capital of the contemporary world with events such as ARTissima, Luci d'Artista, Torino Piemonte Contemporary Arts and Club To Club Alfa Romeo MiTo. More than 26,000 people, from all over Italy and abroad, have enthusiastically taken part in last year's edition of the festival.
A rich preview will anticipate the festival's unwinding.
On 18th October in London, Club To Club Alfa Romeo MiTo will present a special night at Village Underground, a unique space in the effervescent Shoreditch area, dedicated to the new musical and artistic Italian creativity (a tribute to the 2011 edition's theme, The Italian New Wave). The lineup features, amongst the others, Stroboscopic Artefacts label founder Lucy, techno legend and Numbers signee Lory D and guest-stars Berlin-based producer Kuedo with his a/v show.
On 27th and 28th October the Turin/Milan axis will witness for the fifth consecutive year two days of live music and cultural events, with the aim of further musically uniting both cities: Saturday 27th will see the Italian premiere of Mala In Cuba at Turin's Auditorium RAI, while on Sunday 28th Liars and The Haxan Cloak will perform their live shows at Milan's Magazzini Generali.
All 23 young producers and dj's selected for 2012 by the PiemonteGroove Young Talents campaign will perform during this edition of Club To Club Alfa Romeo MiTo.
