Cocoon Heroes ADE special with Ricardo Villalobos
After another successful Ibiza season Cocoon Heroes are returning to Amsterdam for a very special “Into the Magic” ADE edition with Ricardo Villalobos, Raresh and Guy Gerber live.

The line up for this “Into the Magic” ADE special is impressive enough: with Ricardo Villalobos, Raresh and Guy Gerber in the spotlights. Nonetheless, beside them the Holland based event agency ‘Evotions’ and ‘We are E’ music management introduce many other talented and enthusiastic artists who will show their magic on this illuminate night.

Ricardo Villalobos
Born in Chile, raised in Germany, world citizen – that pretty much sums up Ricardo’s life, geographically speaking. In his childhood home there was a steady coming and going of other South Americans living in exile and the Villalobos family liked to enjoy the music from their remote home country, preferably with a quite un-German sound volume. Salsa and South American folklore were joined by operas, rock and later by pioneers of electronic music like Tangerine Dreams or Kraftwerk. Ricardo’s father gave him the chance to develop his innate musicality by introducing him to music from all kinds of genres and cultures.
Today there isn’t a continent where Ricardo hasn’t played; his choice of music is trend-setting for other Djs and fans alike, and even though his tracks are never commercial, they are immensely successful and he’s well known even beyond the borders of the underground music scene. A good deal of his productions already attain cult status when the first whitelabels surface. Ricardo’s inexhaustible creativity and innovation and his unfailing feel for the crowd make him an outstanding artist in the contemporary world of electronic music.
Raresh
The native-born Romanian showed us how meteoric your rise in the world of electronic music can turn out to be if you’re equipped with the right amount of talent, passion and charisma and above all manage to be spotted at the right moment by the right people, e.g. DJ giants like Sven Väth or Ricardo Villalobos. In 2003, Raresh had already played in various clubs in his native city Bacau, but he was eventually drawn to Bukarest, the heart of the Romanian club scene, where he entered his first booking agency, Sunrise. He soon got a full summer residency for all the Sunrise events at the Black Sea Coast and he shared decks with famous colleagues like Richie Hawtin, Tobi Neumann, Josh Wink, Steve Bug, Pascal Feos, Troy Pierce, Magda, Marc Houle or Pier Bucci.
It’s easy to detect his lively, amiable personality in his music – Raresh is a rhythmic whirlwind with a surprisingly eclectic choice of music and impressive technical skills.
Guy Gerber
The Israeli pioneer of electronic music, Guy Gerber has repeatedly startled the world with his personal vision of Techno which he intertwines with unique and cleverly designed melodies and moving airs that leave no listener indifferent. His lives sets are enjoyed worldwide where people are eager to share in the fresh and distinguished sounds only he has the recipe for. Owner of Supplement Facts, he has found the best means of communicating his passion for harmony and rhythm.
The Location and Decoration
The Amsterdam Convention Factory is an authentic Stork factory that has been transformed into one of the most unique event locations in the Netherlands. The industrial atmosphere of the building will be the base of Cocoon’s “Into the Magic“ show, including full decoration created by Mike Schaaf, a full audiovisual experience by Reach Visuals and not to forget performances by the Dream & Dare team.
