- On September 29th Tempo Clash return to London within new surroundings. Down in the basement of Birthdays in Dalston lies an intimate 250 capacity space with big Funktion One sound... We're delighted to welcome two special guests from opposite ends of the spectrum. After touring Asia, Californian Brainfeeder representative Mono/Poly touches down in London for an exclusive set. Known for his distinct madness of face melting bass, paired with his astral soundscapes and sonic beats, Mono/Poly (born Charles Dickerson) is a genre of his own. All hype & whisperings lean towards MP producing a landmark electronic piece with his next Brainfeeder release which is why we're so excited he decided to touch down... Joining the CA native is London's very own Darq E Freaker. It's safe to say that Darq E's “Blueberry (Pills & Cocaine)” alongside Danny Brown has turned out to be an important record; helping build a bridge between America's new hip hop elite and the dark sounds of London town, the duo laid down proof that it could be done and it could be special. Freaker's recent work with Wiley bears further proof that the guy holds the potential to take Grime & Electronics to new place's. Expect high octane, futuristic rowdiness on both accounts. As ever the Tempo Clash team will be setting the bar with Kutmah, Blue Daisy and Kidkanevil on hand September 29th. The residents have been busy and productive as ever; Kutmah digging up the rarest of gems for his latest FACT mix and proving why there ain't many that can compete, Blue Daisy teaming up with ∇nknown ShΔpes for the Bedtime Stories EP released on Black Acre (rated 4/5 in Resident Advisor) and Om Unit back from touring North America after the success of his Aeolian EP release!.
