BOOT SLAP (GET PHYSICAL vocalist from the smash hit "SIOPIS - Really Love Ya"/RHYTHMETIC)
A fascinating live act duo is hidden behind this project name and is composed of the two Berlin based artists Takis (Get Physical) and Christian (Rrygular). Their live-set is a mix of real electronic instruments
like keyboards, synths, percussions and drums coupled with Takis’s soulful vocal treatments.
Christian Witt discovered the muscular, loop-based, dance floor electronics of Josh Wink, Carl Craig, Moritz von Oswald and Daniel Bell in the mid-‘90s. Impressed and immediately fascinated by these
sounds and by Berlin’s unique club-culture, (including legendary clubs such as Planet, E-Werk, Ostgut, WMF and Bunker), Christian’s involvement in the scene increasingly deepened.
Takis Kouretsidis, however, driven by his greek roots contributed notably to hiphop culture - from graffiti and breakdance to songwriting and producing and as a self taught artist he acquired skills in playing the keyboard, various guitars and the drums. He made his debut in the electronic music scene in 2009 as a vocalist along with Siopis on the track “Really Love Ya”.

JOHANNA MERCKER (WELCOME TO THE FUTURE, AWAKENINGS)
On the tender age of six, the parents of Johanna Mercker inspired here to take on piano lessons. After years of classical training Johanna discovered that electronic music, and especially 'house', caught her attention much longer then the weekly hours of piano study. She went on a expedition to discover this music to the fullest; trance, hardstyle, hardcore and techno.
When Johanna went to Haarlem, in the North of Holland, she started building on a extensive network in the dance scene. That's how she got friends with the DJ-hero from Haarlem: Michael 'Ille Bitch' von Lierop. After accompanying him on his many DJ-gigs throughout the Netherlands, Johanna realized that it was time to learn how to mix and DJ. Ille Bitch became her mentor and within a few weeks she had here first gig in Club Stalker. After that moment her career took a flight and it started pouring booking-requests. Within the year she played at clubs like Doornroosje, Club Rembrandt, M.S. Stubnitz, Studio 80, Club Poema and many many more. Besides mixing Johanna took on the noble art of music production.
Her style could be best described as warm, deep and groovy techno, with clear house-elements. Her incentive in music is not only to release a swing in the crowd but also to put down a sprinkling performance which is a pleasure for the ear and eye.
