Audio Doughnuts 2nd Anniversary
Celebrating two years, 730 days and 17,472 hours in the scene in the new heart of London.
“After a mere two years in the game, London-based label & night Audio Doughnuts have grown to be one of London’s most exciting party-places for new and colourful electronic music. Having previously teamed up with Ninja Tune, Tempo Clash, Urban Nerds, Regulate & Civil Music. Hosting and curating stages at festivals such as Dimensions Festival and Standon Calling Festival. With a lengthly list of previous guests at the forefront of electronic music including Rustie, Koreless, Kode9, Julio Bashmore, George Fitzgerald, Kuedo, dEbruit, MJ Cole, Loefah, Slugabed, Falty DL, Appleblim amongst others. AD have been busy in 2012, having travelled from London to Leeds to run nights and 8 releases deep on the label. Now back in London Audio Doughnuts celebrate their second birthday with some of the favorite names in house, techno, garage, hip hop and all round electronic goodness.
On the 30th November, AD (Audio Doughnuts) will celebrate 2 years of parties and releases with their biggest party to date...With legends, new talents and some expected very special guests.
Three of the most iconic players in house music top the bill, MK (Marc Kinchen) flying from LA to play an exclusive set. Alongside from Chicago legends and named by some as the creators of house music Marshall Jefferson and Roy Davis Jr. Joining them comes Aus & Simple Music label-boss Will Saul, garage veteran and Swamp81’s Zed Bias doing a 1990 - 2012 journey set going against his own alias Maddslinky whom has just released on Julio Bashmore’s Broadwalk Records.
2020Vision & Hyperdub’s latest signing Ossie will round off things in the main room alongside electronic-love- maker Two Inch Punch. Dealing with things throughout the rest of the venue is Dirty Bird’s A1 Bassline, mystery man Route 94, LuckyMe’s lady of electronica Eclair Fifi, experimental house producer Leon Vynehall. Also flying in from Barcelona and the US are Montreal native Sinjin Hawke & New Yorker Salva, part of one of the most exciting new music movements of the past few years with a fresh on-look to futuristic hip hop and the ‘New York Sound’
If that wasn’t enough AD will be bringing their very own label artists Onoe Caponoe, Rinse FM DJ, Shox, Benin City, Pusherman and new signings Marcel Lune & Fontàine.
There are also 20 other artists across the 4 arches and 6 rooms, accompanied by 100,000 watts of sound and a state of the art lighting and visual show throughout.
After selling out every party in 2011 and continuing to do so this year this event is expected to sell out, We recommend purchasing your tickets in advance to avoid queues on the night.
