TRANSSYLVANIEN EXPRESS VOL. 1 Opens the newly renovated Jackson Pollock bar and starts directly with a new international party series with a bang: techno expands eastwards. For years, the spearhead of the Eastern European techno scene consisted only of a few names, now a new generation of talented producer and DJs with loss of Mediterranean and catchy minimal-house productions conquered the dancefloors of the West.
Three friends from Petre Inspirescu, Rhadoo, Raresh, and Bucharest have with just two releases on their label, "A: rpia: r" not only the attention of greats such as Villalobos and Luciano to be drawn, but also Romania almost overnight on the techno map established.
But not only on pages of the producers a lot in Romania moves. The clubs in Bucharest flourish, since more and more well-known names are on the flyers, and clubbing is perceived with an intensity and an enthusiasm, of Western European techno evolution is reminiscent of the early days.
For many the Club experience is simply a completely new experience, and this is just our Mediterranean temperament.
