We trust you’re all simply fantabulous.
I’m afraid we have to bring you some bad news & then some good news.
Firstly the bad news is this; Miss Kittin’s work visa for the United States will not be ready in time for her to make this current tour. Of course we’re all absolutely gutted, but it’s something out of the control of both Miss Kittin & ourselves. Of course we’re rescheduling Miss Kittin for the first quarter of 2013, so it’s not all bad news.
Due the this problem, we’ve had to close one of the rooms, so room 2 will now be another party & we’ll be entertaining you in Room 1.
Now the good news, we’ve been fortunate enough to secure the DJ services of the one & only Three to make up for it. Three is by far the most booked DJ for Superfreq over the last 2 years, having played twice for us in London, twice in Moscow, once in St Petersburg & with Mr.C & Xo Chic at BPM in Playa Del Carmen in Mexico, this January passed. The reason we keep booking Three is because we simply love him. Not only is the head honcho at the amazing Hallucination Ltd label & puts on the amazing monthly Snatch parties in Tampa, but he’s an incredible DJ that really understands how to work a crowd & does so in a way that you can feel he is indeed part of the crowd himself. His musical style can go in any direction from deep house to acid to tech house to minimal to techno & because of this, the journey that Three takes you on is always a surprise & full of fun. On top of that, Three is one of the nicest people you will ever meet & loves to get involved with the party.
Of course we’ll also be keeping the incredible Tanner Ross on the line up, moving him into room one with us. Tanner comes from Boston & graduated from the Berkley College of Music. He’s also an integral part of the Wolf & Lamb camp & is not only a fantastic producer but an awesome DJ too. Tanner has recorded for labels Wolf & Lamb, No.19, Mothership, Airdrop, Double Standard, Dirtybird, Bananza, Odori, Phonoshuffle, Trapez, Om & many others, in fact this guys been around more than a hardcore dj groupie. When Tanner’s on the decks, he mixes only the sexiest electric deep house & edgy house music, that’s warm, rich & oh so inviting & it’s an absolute thrill to have Tanner do his Superfreq debut with us here in Los Angeles.
Of course, these to international stars will be joining our very own star Mr.C who’ll be tag teaming with new star in the making, David Scuba who’ll both be celebrating the new David Scuba & Mikael Stavöstrand EP Money Dish, which also include a dope Mr.C remix which is finally to be released this month on Riff Raff.
The stunningly gorgeous & supremely talented Xo Chic from Dollz At Play, will be opening up the proceedings & if we’re lucky, she may even play her debut Xo Chic single which she’s just recorded for the newly re-launched Superfreq label & believe us, the track is sexy as hell, as if a solo Xo Chic track could have come out any other way!
Of course we run from 10pm until 4pm, so arrive early & make the most of what will be an amazing night of music from start to finish & a true celebration of life.
