- One of the founders and current man in charge of the prolific ‘Running Back’ label, Gerd Janson has managed to create a brand that exudes quality, while maintaining a steady output of unfaltering releases over the label’s 10 year reign with highlights from such artists as Theo Parrish, Move D and Todd Terje. Working extensively with the ‘Red Bull Music Academy’ as well as writing for Germany’s ‘Spex’ and ‘Groove’ Magazines, Gerd has become one of the modern faces of underground electronic music on a global level. Gerd also excels as a DJ, holding residence at Frankfurt’s infamous ‘Robert Johnson’ and regularly shares the spoils of his extensive knowledge and taste with discerning dancefloors the world over.
