Young and Nakajima met when Claude relocated to Japan in early 2005 and the two quickly became close friends after discovering they shared a love of electronic music, turntablism and production. Their first production together “Rapture” was released on UK artist Kirk Degiorgio’s ART label in 2011. One of their exclusive / unreleased tracks was licensed to Berghain resident DJ Marcel Fengler’s mix compilation for the infamous Berlin Clubs mix series. Shortly after these releases DW caught the eye of fellow producers Psycatron who have signed them to Inflyte label and have just remixed Octave One's new single “New Life”. Frequently their sets feature an eclectic mix of exclusive edit’s of classic tracks and current works from around the globe. DW finished 2011 with an extremely impressive tour of the USA performing an 8 Hour (all night) set at the legendary “BUNKER” club in New York City, then moved on to play Washington DC & Pittsburgh all in a matter of a few days. 2012 sees Different World visit Europe for the first time, starting in Leeds...
