- Everybody attending has to RSVP for this event, Please send us full names only to [email protected] Friday 16th November Blkmarket Membership presents: SUB:STANCE NEW YORK SUB:STANCE originated as the collision of two worlds - the vitality of UK bass music intertwined with Berlin's infamous Berghain and all its sensory exhilaration and unique atmosphere. The party started in July 2008 when an array of bass music's finest exponents first brought the world's most exciting sound to its most talked about club. Since then the concept has become fully formed with curators Paul Rose (aka Scuba) and Paul Fowler (Spymania Records) picking lineups covering the full spectrum of a scene whose boundaries seem to grow vaguer by the year. With guests including Mala, Joker, Monolake, The Bug, Shackleton and Distance to name just a few, the parties quickly gained a reputation as being among the best in Europe. Since 2008 the party has made some tentative excursions outside the confined fortifications of Berghain. Collaborative events with Sonic Warfare in Amsterdam, Exodus in Leeds, and the Outlook Festival in Croatia have resulted in many smiling faces and ringing ears. The SUB:STANCE residency launched in New York City in 2011 for it's first ever night in conjuction with Blkmarket Membership. Featuring guests Appleblim, Addision Groove live and Steffi. The third edition on Friday 16th November sees special guest Marcel Dettmann and NYC's Braille (one half of the Sepalcure, with Machinedrum) alongside SUB:STANCE residents Scuba & Paul Spymania, and Blkmarket Membership's Taimur & Fahad.
