He is at the forefront of the exciting new breed of electronic music talent emerging from the UK at the moment. Not only has he had releases on such labels as Pacha Recordings, Bulletdodge and Steve Lawler’s VIVA Music but his well earned reputation as a fearless DJ and a sublime producer was cemented when his track, Ultraviolet, which featured on Hot Creation’s Paradise Summer Sampler, became a dance floor smash and led on to slots playing at this years Ibiza phenomenon, Paradise at DC10. For these reasons, among others, Denney has also deservedly been named a Mixmag ‘Future Hero’ and received a producer profile slot on Radio 1. Raised on a diet of house and garage he was introduced to soulful dance music from a young age and has been producing it for over 10 years now. With a huge release on legendary label, Wolf + Lamb, in July and another four autumn releases on Labels such as House of Disco, Electronique and Hot Waves; Mike is one of the rising stars of the underground music scene. Starting his musical journey with hip-hop, house and techno, he has been giving northern clubbers exactly what they want ever since his first residency at the tender age of 16. His creative flair was recognised as his productions started to land in drop boxes of major labels and his first digital release in 2010 and things have only got bigger for this exciting young producer.
