BERLIN,GERMANY. La Mission is the new label project by the ever-popular and sometimes-respectable Beaner (Bar25, Thema, Workthemrecords, Little Helpers, La Mission). Not simply a record label, La Mission is an ideologically-based art project that combines politics, performance, literature, and electronic dance music in one spicy enchilada. La Mission has been raising awareness and money for the project through both the US-based Indiegogo and the Berlin-based Inkubato crowdfunding platforms. On October 24th, in a last-ditch effort to make their 3000 Euro fundraising goal, La Mission and Inkubato cordially invite you to attend a live crowdfunding hosted by Merkezi (which actually means “meeting point” or “center” in Turkish!). The event will feature music by our beloved Beaner and fellow musical deadbeats, Peruvian food prepared by a hot-blooded Peruvian (La Mission’s own LMGM), an erotic door prize, dirty photo booth, Jonestown-inspired punch, inner thigh massages by Mandie’s little sister, and (drumroll) LIVE CROWDFUNDING! Inkubato will be on hand to assist you with the loosening of your purse-strings. Bring your cash, your account details, your paypal passwords, your first-born child (to throw in the Peruvian Stew), and a fistfull of condoms (to avoid making a second-born child).

Mehr als ein einfaches Plattenlabel, ist La Mission ein weltanschaulich gerichtetes Kunstprojekt, das die Politik, Aufführung, Literatur, und elektronische Tanzmusik in einen würzigen Enchilada zusammen verknüpfen. Zurzeit sensibiliert La Mission die Massen und dazu Geld beschafft durch Crowdfunding-Initiativen bei dem US-basierten Indiegogo und dem Berliner Inkubato. Am 24. Oktober—in einem allerletzten Versuch, ihren Fundraisingziel von 3000 Euro zu erreichen—laden La Mission und Inkubato euch herzlich ein, zu einer Live-Crowdfunding-Veranstaltung an dem Merkezi (dessen Name übrigens “Treffpunkt” oder “Zentrum” auf Türkisch bedeutet)! Die Veranstaltung wird viel darbieten, wie z.B. Musik von unserem beliebten Beaner (und Kamaraden), peruanisches Essen von einem echten heißblütigen Peruaner (LMGM von La Mission), eine erotische Verlosung, einen anstößigen Fotoautomat, Jonestown-inspierierte Bowle, und (*trommelwirbel*) LIVE-CROWDFUNDING! Inkubato wird vor Ort sein, um euch mit der Öffnung des Geldhahns zu helfen.
