BREAK THE PIG is a project that started in Dalston in 2003 and has since been a regular night @1001 with Locomosquito and Fabio Spzz.
The aim of Break the Pig is to make the crowd dance, dance and sweat to great and cutting edge electronic music, showcasing the best djs in the london underground scene with regular appearance on the decks from exceptional guest djs and producers from around the globe.
The sound of music, produced and played with love, never fails to create the right atmosphere for a great time out, and that is what we are about...music as a relief and cure, music as a therapy and as a space to express yourself.
Expect the unexpected.
Step out of your everyday habits and behave, dance like never before and for as long as you can, be happy and together at once...only music can make that happen;) Bliss!!!
As the dance floor expands, we've decided to step forward and bring this event back to where it started and make an intimate clubbing atmosphere with a monthly night and great guests!!!
After our first installment with Outart, on a very wet and rainy Friday, we decided to book another favorite of ours, the genius mind behind one of the most played tracks of last summer in Ibiza (RAINING AGAIN), as a gesture to ward off any bad luck this time.

Betoko
Described as Tech, minimal, House, the lengthy production catalog Betoko holds up against his name has seen the releases championed & play listed by DJ’s M.A.N.D.Y, Gregor Tresher, Martinez, Steve Lawler, Dubfire, Sven Vath and Marco Carola, to name a few and his tracks have been featured on TV Series like CSI, several Advertising Campaigns and Madonna's Sticky N Sweet Tour and CD / DVD. Betoko’s embellishment of his music personality gets deeper; now head honcho of his own label, OKO Recordings, he is part of the pioneering evolution of electronic magic adding high quality releases to the worlds track list, supported by some of the globes most highly regarded DJ’s.
Upcoming releases in 2012 include an EP on his new imprint Chilli Mint Music, a follow up with LOPAZZ for their Get Physical Release, A new single out on Audiofly's Supernature Label and an EP on Mar-T's Wow! Records.

Ed Deegan
Utilizing melancholic melodies with driving baselines, Deegan forges a chic and uplifting cinematic techno sound which is trademark during his DECKSAVERS club nights.
Executing events in Playtime, Public Life, The Russian and new home Basing House with guests like Glimpse with his legendary LIVE set (Crosstown Rebels/Cadenza/Cocoon), Geddes (Mulletover/Murmur), Natalie Coleman (Mooch), Diego cK (cK Family/Malatoid), TBOY (Ifidota/No Attitude), W10 (Artizan/Prolifica/Godeeva), Mario Conte & Fabio SPZZ (Menomale), Locomosquito (Break the Pig) to name but a few. Decksavers also champions younger local talent through their parties.
Deegan's Decksavers closing sets events have become trademark with his melodic techno sound and complementing the driving tech house from co-resident Jack Brazzo, offering the Decksavers faithful a solid all round experience.
Taking things a bit lighter, Deegan secured a residency at the W Hotel, Leicester Square, providing the Sunday Night soundtrack to the masses, holding a Deep House night called Sunday Social. Harnessing a musical niche in the West End, they have played to the likes of Kelly Rowland, Cee Lo Green, One Direction and JLS, converting them into Deep and Tech House heads for the evening, receiving relentless praise for developing a sound away from the commercially monopolized area that is W1.
FABIO SPZZ
Fabio Spzz was born in Naples, Fabio Spezzaferri has been enchanted by the quality music scene since 1990 and was already spinning records by the young age of 14! His passion and talent quickly led him to be DJ'ing in the Bars, Clubs and some of the biggest parties in Naples. Fabio has supported some of the biggest names in the music industry. Fabio moved to London in 2000 his reputation spread to other major European clubs. In 2003 he began studying Sound Engineering and Music Production at SAE . Since 2004, Fabio Spzz has been promoting his own sunday after party at always in secret location: Menomale afterhours. A few of years later menomale is by night also, at Fluid. In his apartment in London, he built with his producer friend Mario Conte a studio in which their impulses have taken the form of twisted sounds and inventive beats, funky minimal style. In 2008 Fabio SPZZ and Mario Conte set up Menomale Records, which has rapidly become a benchmark for funky, minimal techno music. Fabio SPZZ and Mario Conte aka After & Shave are responsible for the underground hit ‘Sweet Jam’ and ' Cuba Libre' on Menomale Records. Fabio lives between Naples,Barcelona and London where he continues his exploration and love of release through music.

DJ Locomosquito..... To see the man in action is like observing a skilled carpenter crafting a precious wood. A true artist at work, his deep passion for the music and for the art of being a real DJ is an aspect of his set which never fails to shine through. This DJ plays and shares from the heart and can fill any space with his own energy, infusing through the music an intensity and DJ-crowd connection many an artist can only dream of creating.
Locomosquito is a name and face known to many of the London/Shoreditch party locals, well distinguished and recognised for his own unique and personal blend of minielectrotektro underground groove proven to keep them all well on their feet for hours on end. The people's DJ, when Locomosquito takes his place behind the decks his crowd have little choice but to brace themselves for a crazy dance session, and rest assured he will not be satisfied until he's got the whole entire floor screaming and begging for more. You have been warned. I want to see the whole world dancing together to the earth beat...going on and on and on sweating out all of the toxic stuff,dance and loose control...
