William Yates recently released ‘I Sleep. At Waking’ via the savvy folk at Black Acre. Throughout this ace debut LP, multi-instrumentalist Yates adeptly fuses his love for classical music with refined electronic touches, creating a real sense of space and drama, recorded in a 400-year old haunted cottage in the heart of a forest. His awesome live set incorporates MPC wizardry with loop pedals and a variety live instruments.

The ever-dextrous Ben Stefanski, aka Raffertie will be in attendance. We’ve long been admirers of the Super Records bosses strain of synthsezied soul and we're looking forward to seeing him on stage with his new live outfit.

Our friend Pedestrian, known as Jack Sibley to his Mum, is an impeccable selector and versatile producer. His discography spans Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood, 2nd Drop Records, Push & Run and Metalheadz, on top of sterling remix efforts from Emeli Sande, Jon Phonics and Maribou State.

Romare's inclusion here is a testament to the output of Black Acre. 'Meditations on Afrocentrism' is a brilliant record and we have nothing but admiration for the crafted approach to the creation of it. His Boiler Room session from earlier this year is right on the money, check it out of you haven't already.
