Headlining is Fuse resident, Alex Arnout, whose twenty years of experience in the game marks him out as one of London’s true house veterans. Be it trip hop, broken beat, or house, Arnout has always been experimental and innovative. He’s released on Crosstown, Hot Creations, Phonetic and Fear Of Flying but it’s through his own imprint, Dogmatik, that he’s been able to really champion the deep house sounds of himself and those around him. Famously launching the career of Maya Jane Coles, Dogmatik is today the strongest it’s ever been, flying the flag in 2013 for eclectic and extremely playable house music, a club sound that’s hard to disregard especially when selected and mixed so effortlessly by Arnout himself.
Also bringing the noise is label head honcho Danton Eeprom, the French-born, London-based force best known for his collaboration with Radio Slave on the techno classic ‘Grindhouse’. With his second album ‘All Dressed Up and Nowhere To Go’ being released imminently and the revival of his label Fondation Records, 2013 is looking to be the prime moment to exercise his itchy fingers and restless pursuit for innovation.
Leftroom’s MarcAshken is technically the centre of the party, celebrating the release of his ‘Better Place’ on Fondation, after a hectic 2012 in which he had releases on Get Physical, OKO, Save You and many more.
David Frank, co-founder and resident DJ of Bunker Bloc, completes the bill with his upfront and fresh sounds. Having grown up with a musical background and extreme passion for beats, it was only natural that Bunker Bloc
was born.
