After 3 years of hosting underground house DJs in clubs around the capital, This Is Not Happening are proud to announce their exciting new venture into the incredibly (not-so) profitable world of running a vinyl-only record label.
The debut release comes courtesy of ‘Arcarsenal’, a French duo who craft their sound in a largely hardware Berlin studio. The pair are new on the scene, having only previously released on their own ‘Bass Cadet Records’ imprint, but have received praise across the board with the likes of Jus Ed, Bill Patrick and Shaun Reeves supporting their tracks.

Their release on This Is Not Happening, entitled “An American Odyssey EP”, consists of 3 tracks largely inspired by a recent trip to America’s deep south, with a bit of Detroit thrown in for good measure. Remix duties on the B-side go to Spanish deep house maestro Dubbyman, fresh from releasing Chicago legend Ron Trent on his own Deep Explorer label. 300 copies of the record will be pressed, which is scheduled for release at the beginning of December.
In order to celebrate properly, we got all the people involved with the release to come and spin some records...
Headlining the party we have DUBBYMAN, who's very rare appearence in London as much as his quality music will make this a special night.
Of course our boyz ARCARSENAL will get us all smiling - this french duo always know how to groove.
TINH DJs Michael and Fabien will warm things up.
