Musical hosts Ashley Casselle and Demi present to you a celebration of music in all its forms and genres, showcasing diverse and quality acts, both live and DJ.
Mixed by exciting and widely travelled guests, residents and close friends, all will be free to express their true musical tastes and express to the crowd how and where they found their Fortune.
Both Demi and Ashley’s infectious enthusiasm along with the inspiration both DJ’s have drawn from their considerable globe trotting experiences will lay the very foundations of Fortune. Their DJ sets will showcase a true eclectic sound and each month will see a different guest DJ or live act which will reflect the pair’s rich range of musical influences.
The first instalment is a band that represents a multitude of musical boundaries and who perform an amazing live show; CRAZY PENIS. Following the release of the acclaimed album ‘The Wicked Is Music’, the artists have gone from strength to strength, taking their humour-filled, funk-infected Northern floorshow into the world to wow audiences across the globe.
Crazy Penis releases the thrilling “24 Hour Psychedelic Freakout” on July 19th accompanied by a typically high-octane live and exclusive London appearance at FORTUNE at their opening night at NEIGHBOURHOOD in West London on Thursday August 5th.
The album represents a 60-minute rollercoaster ride through the mixed-up world of Crazy Penis. Instinctively groovy, occasionally laid-back and always rocking, “24 Hour Psychedelic Freakout” is a flash-fried, new season collection of brand new tracks and exclusive remixes joined at the hip by mixers du jour Chris Todd and Jim Baron.
With the presentation of new and existing material from live and DJ acts, Fortune will see acts harness all their influences, music and emotion with the magic and unpredictability of chance; fortunate or adverse, that mould our everyday lives and make us into who we are.
