The Festival is an opportunity to get out there and try out new and exciting experiences. Head into the workshop space for a dance or yoga class, or a fun group drumming session. The Peats markets are also an unmissable part of the Festival; some of the best retailers from around the country will set up shop and peddle anything from vintage clothing, to fair trade coffee and tea, beautiful jewellery and fisherman's pants (a Festival must-have).
Away from the music stages, the arts program is as much the star of the show as the amazing line-up of bands. This year there will be a brand new theatre, a giant trapeze show, guerrilla projections, interactive installations, and dance and cabaret shows.
Unwind and recharge on your Peats Ridge getaway. Bring along your own camping gear, or rent a roomy and comfortable tepee in our sustainable Tepee Life Village, a mere walking distance away from the music and activities of the Festival. You will be surrounded by the Valley's beautiful tea trees and an idyllic fresh water stream that you can take a quick dip in to cool off from the afternoon heat.
Wander away from the hubbub for a while and relax in the lush, silk-lined Chai Temple, a retreat complete with soothing cups of chai, treats and acoustic music to take you far away. Then come back down to Earth at Healing Haven, a riverside sanctuary offering yoga, meditation, sound healing and workshops. There is no better way to come into the New Year with a refreshed body, mind and soul, and here is where you will be transformed.
As a sustainable festival, Peats Ridge aims to be as kind to the environment as possible, with a waste management system designed to leave as little impact as possible to the beautiful surrounds of Glenworth Valley.
