As 2012 kicked off the label approached 30 release's & some great new music releases scheduled throughout the year. Floorplay Music is much more than a record label though – it’s a way of life! Floorplay parties have quickly become stuff of late night legend. What started off as a small label showcase night has turned into regular roadblocks and sell outs in Brighton, Dubai and London. The Guardian, Mixmag, IDJ and DJ magazine have all proclaimed Floorplay to be the ‘best night in the South’ and it’s easy to see why – guests have included Dirty Vegas, Chris Lake, Mark Knight... the list just goes on.
In the DJ booth, it's all about the groove with these guys, whether they are on a line up with the underground crew keeping it deep and dark or playing in the big main rooms for the masses, their versatility and acceptance across genres has been key to their success to date! Rocking mainstages at the infamous Sunburn Festival in Goa & many other festival's, playing at some of he most prestigious clubs in the world: Amnesia in Ibiza, Sankeys in Manchester, Pacha in Sao Paolo and Circus in Montreal. It's difficult to find a country that they haven't visited in the past 12 months. 2012- is shaping up very nicely, with theres busiest DJ diary to date, hotly anticipated releases on Floorplay, Great Stuff & Toolroom in the first quarter of the year. Expect collaborations with Filthy Rich, Rene Amesz, Marco Lys & more all the ingredients are in place for 2012 to be their best year yet.....

Mark Bradbury also known as The Dutch Rudder is Manchesters newest Official Resident. Playing every friday at the number 1 club voted by the fans in 2010, Sankeys. Mark has spent the last 4 years working towards being a full time professional DJ and earning himself a place within the DJ'ing world.He continued his progression by starting his own night once a month, ‘Phunk’.
Mark took it upon himself to start teaching his knowledge to people who kept asking him “How do you do that?” Now he owns a Studio above Sankeys in which he teaches lessons weekly and shows his pupils his skills and knowledge. Mark has also achieved what many upcoming Djs could only dream of. He has played alongside Sebastian Ledger, Dubfire, the world famous Swedish House Mafia, and many more. Along side this he has played at Matter in London where he also warmed up for Laidback Luke, one of Marks biggest achievements to date. Following on from this success over the past year he has gone from strength to strength, Mark now produces music and he has had his songs signed by music labels such as Vaction, Bikini, Get Fresh and Crossworld Records. Also he has a new release coming out in the near future on Cimelde records. These songs also have been played by Judge Jules on Radio 1 and are being played to fans from world class dj's all over the globe. The question that most people want to know is what can Mark do next? He has got a lot more planned in order for him to reach those new heights. He is continuing his Dj lessons and playing and producing his music.. All is going well for this Young talented Dj, only time will tell where he ends up but with this experience under his belt already, who knows what the future holds. What is for sure is that he has his foot firmly on the ladder and the only way is to the top.
