- London’s Tom Russell has been releasing quality tunes under the name Truss for a while now, either alone or with regular collaborator Donor, building up a solid back catalogue on labels such as Perc Trax, Thema and Synewave. Lately he’s been getting attention with his cryptically-named MPIA3 project: out of nowhere he dropped two EPs of no-nonsense 303-driven madness on Shifted and Ventress’s Avian label which people have been losing their shit to on dancefloors worldwide, and he recently followed these up with a double-pack of more rave-inspired techno weapons on R&S. We’ve invited him to lay down some of these beats live at Chambre 69 for the second session of Missing Persons Club, following the inaugural night where Skirt and TVO tore it up at Stereo. Setting the tone will be our own Wax Works (MPC) and Simon Bryan (MPC / Beat Beneath). Free before 12 // £5 after
