After having built up a small catalogue of releases each on their own, Paskal and Urban Absolutes (monikers of Alexander Kastner and Adrian Hoffmann) decided to start a musical cooperation project in late summer of 2009.
Despite the distance lying between their hometowns - Alexander is living in Berlin, Adrian is living in Düsseldorf - Paskal & Urban Absolutes began to develop their very own idea of electronic dance music, integrating elements of Pop, Downtempo and (of course) House. After some time of experimenting, this lead to their first conjoint release on Ingo Sänger’s label Farside Records ("Need Love EP", Far-Otrs017, 2010). In June 2011, Paskal & Urban Absolutes contributed their track “Twice” to the compilation “Perspectives Part 05” (VIEWED005-2) on Phil “Dairmount” Darimont’s label Room with a View. Shortly after that, they were hired by Mousse T. to do a remix for his track “By Myself (feat. Inaya Day)” (released as part of the Peppermint Jam Records-Sampler "The Jam Files: Future", also available as 12" Vinyl / PJMS0150, 2011). Constantly increasing the frequency of their production sessions, Paskal & Urban Absolutes have filled up their pipeline of up and coming releases, including more originals and remixes on labels like Farside Records, Peppermint Jam, Foul & Sounk, Room with a View, Visky Records and Deeper Meaning.
