We are delighted to host the Airbound Launch Party on Feb 23rd. with a double header of live music from Slow Hands & I Am The Cosmos accompanied by a dj set from Cait & Orlando.
The Irish mini-festival Airbound has partied in Berlin and Croatia in previous years but this year, it returns to its London home for another round from March 29th – 31st to bring the party closer to the many Irish abroad in London and offers another reason for Irish natives to make the visit. This year’s Airbound event takes in a night-cruise down the Thames on the Dixie Queen (a replica of a 19th century Mississippi Paddleboat) on the Friday before moving to a warehouse until the early morning.
SLOW HANDS
One of the main proponents of the current slow-mo and sultry house revolution, Slow Hands aka Ryan Cavanagh is an organic specialist. His rich yet languid style bares all the hallmarks of the classical and compositional training he has had, whilst everything from jazz to blues to trippy electronica inform the New Yorker’s well honed production palette.
Having emerged on the now landmark Significant Others EP (with his track ‘Fast Tongue’ released by inimitable New York stable Wolf + Lamb in only 2009) he’s gone on to thread sunny melodies and steamy bass lines for More or Less as well as Gadi’s boutique, vinyl-only label Double Standards; Permanent Vacation and more. There have been remixes and high-profile covers (Sade’s ‘Sweetest Taboo’) along the way, too, whilst dance floors across the world have all fallen under his charmingly seductive spell.
After catching Slow Hands' live show last year in Berlin, we straight away knew we wanted to bring him to HIdden Agenda. Live guitar and vocals which he uses with the right amount of subtlety, never becoming self-indulgent and always keeping the dance floor grooving.

Ross Turner and Cian Murphy aka I Am The Cosmos have just released their debut album (which you can stream and download for FREE on Noisey - link below) and it's already set to be one of the best releases of 2013. But this comes as no surprise as they have always oozed talent with an amazing live show to boot.
