Astral People's 'beyondblue' Fundraiser with Mark Pritchard

  • In an effort to further the awareness of mental illness and its underlying effect on the community, Sydney touring group Astral People are proud to announce a late-night club fundraiser in a series that has amassed over $5000 towards mental health initiatives. Taking place at Sydney underground institution Goodgod Small Club on February 1st, an incredibly strong lineup of local and international talent have donated their time to perform, with 100% of proceeds going towards beyondblue, The National Depression Initiative. Headlining the evening is Australian export Mark Pritchard - well known for his solo productions on Warp Records and Hyperdub amongst his work as Harmonic 313 and ½ of the illustrious Africa Hitech. Pritchard will be joined by mysterious techno project Tuff Sherm, 502-Recordings signed duo Cliques, Templar Soundsystem, Preacha, Ben Fester and Compound DJs for a club experience amongst the best Australia could offer. The awareness of mental health issues is a cause very close to the heart of Astral People, and one that has bought these incredible artists together to show their support. Entry will be via donation of your choosing, with 100% of proceeds to be donated to beyondblue. We look forward to your generosity in working towards this extremely important initiative.
